DAY SAILING EXCURSION SPLIT CROATIA FAQ
1.HOW MUCH DOES THIS TOUR COST?
-Full day tour costs 150€ per person for 2 people on board / 130€ per person for 3 or more people on board. If you book for 2 people and we book someone else later price goes down to 130€ per person.
-Half day tour costs 450€ per (private) group of 7 people max.
-Sunset tour costs 250€ per (private) group of 7 people max.
-Winter tour on request.
2.IS THERE A MIN. NUMBER OF PEOPLE? I AM ALONE, CAN I JOIN?
We sail out with 2 people for full day trip, half day and sunset trips are strictly private.
3.CAN CHILDREN GET A DISCOUNT?
Yes:
0-3 years / free of charge
4-11 years / 20%
4.WHAT IF I BOOK AND THE TOUR IS CANCELLED? CAN I GET A REFUND?
In the case of bad weather conditions meaning rain or stormy winds we will cancel and you will get a full refund, we don’t cancel if it’s cloudy. If the weather is unstable possible cancellations can be announced only an evening before after 21:30h. Advances are non-refundable unless we cancel for any reason but it’s also possible to take a tour on any other day in the future or transfer your advance to someone else for the future bookings.
5.HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS FUNCTION? WHY WAS MY CARD REJECTED? IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CARD?
Upon completing the advance payment through our booking engine you will automatically receive a voucher on the e-mail address we received through the booking engine. If you don’t receive a confirmation mail it has to be in your spam folder or the address typed is wrong. Either printed voucher or voucher visible on your smartphone have to be presented at the tour beginning. If your card gets rejected most usual reason is your bank denies the transaction, in that case please get in touch. We use the latest 3-D secure protocols.
6.HOW CAN I PAY THE REST?
Remaining amount is due during the tour.
7.WILL THERE BE ANY EXTRA CHARGE?
No, only gratuities to the crew if you like.
8.WHICH LANGUAGES DOES THE CREW SPEAK?
English and Croatian.
9.ON WHICH DAYS DOES THIS TOUR DEPART?

11.WHERE DO WE START FROM?
Boat leaves from west port of Split, near INA waterfront gas station.
12.WHAT IF I’M LATE?
Unfortunately we can’t wait because of the other guests.
13.WHAT KIND OF BOAT DO YOU USE, HOW WILL I RECOGNIZE THE BOAT?
Boat type is Triplast Y999, reg. for 7 guests + 2 crew members, license nr. 1037-RO

14.WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This depends on the season but bring whatever you think might be necessary like sunscreen, hats, jackets, trousers, towel etc. If you are sensitive to boat movements please take a pill like Dramamine or similar prior the tour.
15.DO YOU HAVE SNORKELING EQUIPMENT OR TOWELS? DO YOU HAVE LIFE VESTS?
Masks with snorkels and fins are provided, towels are not. We have life vests including small ones for kids.
16.WILL WE VISIT BLUE CAVE, GREEN CAVE, BOL OR HVAR? WHERE DO WE SAIL TO, HOW MANY ISLANDS WILL WE VISIT? WILL WE BE ABLE TO LEARN HOW TO SAIL OURSELVES?
We visit north sides of islands Brac, Solta or Ciovo and during full day trip stop in Stomorska on Solta island so you can have lunch in a restaurant. Other places are accessible only with speed boats OPCIJA TOURS DMC CROATIA. On full day and winter sailing we visit one of the small villages on the island and anchor somewhere in a wild bay. Route on all trips depends on the skipper and can not be predetermined, you will also have time for a swim on all trips. Our crew is always happy to teach you sailing and you can work with ropes and winches, drive the boat etc.
17.WHAT IS SERVED ON BOARD?
Coffee, snacks and local wine. On a full day trip we stop in Stomorska on Šolta island where you can have lunch in a restaurant (not included in the price).

We don’t use cookies. When you book directly on our website your personal data is safely stored on card processing company server only (we work with Braintree).
